Since this is the first before black post I thought I'd say thanks to Shane for allowing this forum to exist and we'll see how things go. :party43: I'll see if I can get some more guys over here to post questions about their cars.:five: It doesn't matter what kind of set up you have, whether it's a conventional draw through carb/turbo, carbed NA, or blow through set up. It's all about a non SFI design and using your head to make it work the way you want. We have to think harder to get what we want so let's see how it goes.:yaya:

Go work on a computer............ If I wanted to argue politics I would go find a politics board not a turbo Buick board.

Since I've got you guys in here for a change here's some pics of one of the little projects I;ve been kind of working on. See what you think of my hack job headers. This started life as a set of Hookers and so far it loks like a good use for them.:party43:

It is Charlie, Ty. I was thinking that a kinda vortex in the drivers side might be able to push more so the tubes are pointed in the same direction and toward the outside so it would swirl the exhaust and maybe scavenge at a lower RPM. It should help spool the turbo a little better. Still have to finish fitting the tubes together and add the flanges to hook it up to the factory pipes. It's a multi step idea so the bigger pipes are on the pass side for expansion of the gasses. The largest size is the up pipe to the turbo. It's going to be 2.5" and the crossover will be a 2" going to the pass header which is a 2.25". I haven't nailed everythig down yet though.

If these work I was thinking about getting a patent and see about selling the design. It's simple engineering but the fitting is a pain. The Postons don't do as much as these should so I'll get them done and see if one of the HA guys want to do some testing for me.

Well since the HA and the 83 use the same headers it should benifit us both Bryan. I take it you like the design and concept?:nixweiss: Have you seen the turbo idea I have on the other site?:nixweiss:
